A Familiar Sight for the Sens
The red flash of the Goal light was a frightening but familiar sight for the Senators two nights ago. The Sharks lit the Senators up for 8 goals in a 8-4 routing in Ottawa.
Tonight the Ottawa faces the mighty Wings and Sens GM Schmucky expects a much better performance, "We can't expect to make playoffs and achieve our goals if we continue to play like we did. Our offense has to step up but our Defense has to play tough as well. Osgood was not completely at fault but by no means did he impress us either. We simply have to play better."
The Sens are reportedly on the hunt for a Defensive Winger that could fit into their 2nd line. That line is a -10 right now and could be the cause of many of the woes the Sens have faced thus far. Players on the block include: Nedved, Morrison, zhitnik, Fata, and most everyone on the offense except for the "BIG 3"; Selanne, Kovalev and prized prospect Bouchard.
