Mystery injuries leave trio hurt, Leafs GM blames bad ice.

The Leafs were looking forward to getting both Henrik Sedin, Ryan Smyth and Evgeny Nabakov, back into their starting lineups in hopes to end their current losing skid.

The Leafs did infact win in their home game against the Capitals, but it did come at a cost in what truly was an odd game.

During the game, 3 players were hurt, once in each period, but they were not directed from penalties, since there infact was only 1 penalty total in the entire game.

Game Notes

Todd Warriner injured at 00:22 of the 1st Period
Derek Morris injured at 19:45 of the 2nd Period----Toronto
Denis Gauthier injured at 09:39 of the 3rd Period--Toronto

In another odd twist to this, the entire Hurricane team were rumored to have fallen into this same crack as well. Sure its odd, since they havent played into Toronto yet this year, but when we asked their GM, his reply was "I havent seen my team in ages, can someone tell me when they are spotted?"

The search for the Hurricanes club continues and perhaps a way to fix this ice.
