Senators snap skid with a Tie
The Senators returned home last night after a 2 game road trip that saw them lose both games. They faced the pesky Flyers at the Staples Center last night and came out with a point. However, this was not enough for GM Schmucky as he was disappointed after the game, "We still didn't look good. Our defense welcomed Ryan Whitney back but still gave up 30 shots. We only put two goals up against what we feel to be a weak team and it's disappointing. Ozzy played his ass off and for that we are happy. He has been a great addition to our team this season. However, our top line has to play much better. I am in the process of hunting down a new #1 Center or at least shaking up the lines a bit to see what we can do to get some points up on the board."
The Senators are looking forward to their matchup with the Ducks tomorrow night. They have a day of rest where it is expected they will partake in a light practice before meeting Anaheim. Osgood will definitely get the start but that is all that is definite at the moment. Expect lineup shifts and defensive pairings to change as well.
