Sens Look For Win at Home: Fata on the Block!
The Ottawa Senators are fed up with Rico Fata's shenanigans! Fata rejected the Senators' 2nd offer yesterday for a 1 year, 1.6 million dollar deal. His counter offer: nothing! Thus, GM Schmucky officially announced that, "We are shopping Rico Fata around to see what we can get. It's sad. We really wanted to see him grow and develop with us. His agent is a *&^%$. So, there's nothing we can do. However, he won't be given away. We'd like to include him in a package for a better player or trade him for someone of equal value. Otherwise, we'll hold onto him and hope he signs in the offseason."
Meanwhile, the Sens have a tough task at the Corel Centre tonight as they play the 9-9-3 Hawks. Ottawa is 10-8-2 and are looking to stay in the top 8 in their conference with a win tonight.
The lines were shaken up today by GM Schmuck as you will see Michael Ryder bumped to the third line as his performance has been dismal this year. This made room to bring up David Petrasek who has 3 Goals, 10 Assists and a +3 rating playing on the third line. Schmucky hopes this will spark some offense from guys like PM Bouchard and Petr Nedved.
Both squads are healthy so watch for a close one tonight.
