The Ottawa Senators finished the long weekend off with a big win against the Bluejackets this evening.

Ottawa got big-time production from some of it's big time players tonight as Morrison led the way with 2 goals and Kovalev had an assist on each. Filip Novak was the hero as he scored the game winner with 1:03 left to go in regulation on assists by Turek and Bouchard. Other multi-point nights went out to Poti with 2 assists and Bouchard with 2 assists also. Hal Gill had an assist to wrap up the points for the Sens.

Backup Roman Turek had another solid outing as Osgood sat on the bench AGAIN, due to fatigue. turek stopped 28 shots and had an assist on the game winner.

The Senators play the Oilers in a Schmuckfest tomorrow night. The two brother GM's will face off and Sens GM Schmucky is excited, for once, "We are actually on the up and up this season and he's not. As much as I like to see my brother do well, it will be nice to beat him and get some payback."
