Rangers Jrs Pushing Pros?

The New York Rangers notched a huge victory over the rival Carolina Hurricanes last night. Daniel Alfredsson awoke from his slumber and tallied three points but was bested by line mates Mike Ribeiro and JP Dumont. Ribeiro rang up 4 points and Dumont counted 5.

The line played with amazing energy as, apparently, General Manager Burns had threatened to replace the entire line with players from the junior ranks.

Down in the Juniors the Baby Rangers are enjoying a great start thanks to the torrid scoring of Jonathan Ferland, Jan Kubista, and Alexei Kaigorodov. Ferland has an amazing 24 points in only 14 games played. His ferocious scoring has put him on pace for one of the highest totals in league history. The chemistry of the players has been amazing to behold as they were united only due to an injury to Jerome Marios. His line mate Ferland is second in scoring with 22 points while Kaigorodov is tied for third with 20 points.

"I told them if they didn't win this game for me I'd bring up Ferland, Kubista, and Kaigorodov. Those kids are playing some inspired hockey. I told them they'd play the next 10 games. Amazing what people can do when motivated."
