Shocking Blues news

With the offseason now in high gear the Blues have made a significant move by releasing the rights to Eric Lindros. Lindros was set to collect another 11 mil this season and many have questioned the sanity of GM Foley after he released the teams leading scorer. The move however was due to financial reasons as releasing Eric Lindros will save the team a whopping 9 mil and more importantly a saving of 11 mil towards the Blues cap. As of yet no one has been named as the Blues top center but reports have it that GM Foley is looking to acquire one threw trade or via the FA pool. With most of the good top line players now gone from the FA Pool GM Foley may be forced to go to a trade to bring in the top line guy that the team will need in order to succeed.
