Nikolai Khabibulin shows his worth vs Wild

Khabibulin was the difference Sunday as the Oilers beat the Wild 4-1. Khabibulin stopped an amazing 41 out of 42 shots stopping the Wild cold. Kariya and Parrish were placed on the same line for the first time this year and each had a goal and an assist to show for it. A nice performance for the struggling Oilers all-in-all they need to let less shots at their own goal and get more shots at the other end if they expect to have any kind of conistency. Out Shot 42-19 and coming out
with a win isn't a regular occurence in CLUTCH.

The Oilers added some depth at defence as well Sunday signing defensman Marc Moro to a 3 year / 1 million dollar year. With Ference suspended and McAllister being ejected early in the game Sunday it was evident someone had to be added to the Oilers thin defense. Moro is expected to suit up in his first game of the season Tuesday vs. the Flames.
