Rangers Take a Chance On Knutsen
When the Edmonton Oilers needed to cut salary Espen Knutsen of Norway was the first to go. There were rumblings in Edmonton about problems in the dressing room, a bad attitude, and lacklustre play but it seems that the photo shoot for a shampoo add depicted on the right may have been the last straw. This picture is real folks and it's from a shampoo ad. You can not make this shit up!
"Attitude problem? I don't have a fucking attitude problem," snapped Knutsen when asked about the rumours. "I'll tell you who has an attitude problem. The whole Oiler management team. Jerks. Kyle. Don't get me started on that maroon. Oh let me guess! Now I'm the asshole. Suuuure, I'M the one with the big mouth. I speak the truth and people don't like it. Tough. If you don't like my opinions you don't have agree with them. If you don't though just shut up. Oh, and by the way that's an ugly tie. Your tv make up is smudged and you've got lipstick on your teeth Mary."
When asked about the trade GM David Burns said, "Espen can be a little........ah.......eccentrit but we feel he's still got some talent and can help out out on our third line. We're thinking a third line of Knutsen, Nash, and Ponikarovsky makes a combination that could really make some noise. It's a low risk manouvere but it could pay big dividends. Achem. I have to go now."
