Panthers Hope Not To Get Burnt By Flames
CALGARY
The Florida Panthers are in Calgary tonight and are hoping they don't get burned by the Flames.
The Panthers are coming off a devastating 3-0 loss at the hands of the Dallas Stars.
The Flames are in the middle of an 8 game home stand. They are also currently trying to get out of a 5 game losing streak. The Flames are looking to win only their 6th game of the season. A win against the Panthers could be the start of turning their season around. A loss would sink them deeper into the basement.
The Panthers have been playing sub-par lately after a successful start to the season and a game against the Flames could be just what the doctor ordered for them to get back on track.
Roberto Loungo will get the start again tonight although he is in the GM's dog house for his poor play. If the Panthers take the Flames lightly they could find their losing streak continuing.
