Oilers Down Avs 4-1

Everybody played their role last night as the Oilers downed the Avs 4-1, Kariya, Allison, Krivokrasov and Frolov tallied 23 minutes piece on the ice while Aucoin tallied a team leading 30 minutes. Ty Conklin stepped up and showed the critics again that he is highly underrated stopping 22 of 23 shots. Allison and Kariya each had a 2 point game and Grand-Pierre slid into his enforcer role dropping the gloves against Pettinger then later getting thrown out causing trouble in front of the Colorado goal. "That is what we need to do for the remaining 9, If everyone plays their role and keeps their head, We will be in the hunt for lord stanley before we know it" GM Schmuck said while speaking to the media after the game. The Oilers have a day off before travelling to New Jersey to play the Devils.
