Ottawa GM takes Recruiting to Vegas

GM Schmucky is off to Las Vegas this week with hopes that his Senators JR's can do better without him than with him. The team is on a slide and GM Schmucky believes it may be due to his interference with lines and goalie swaps.

The pro sens should be fine since they suck regardless of who does the lines or doesn't. With big moves in the making, Schmucky is hoping that when he returns, he can make some more moves before deadline day.

The Sens have made a deal for what GM Schmucky calls a 'Superstar' that will change the face of the squad. Deals will not be released until closer to the deadline as Schmucky and the mystery GM agreed to wait until deadline day to put it through for the best of both teams.

'The new acquisition gives our team an entirely new and exciting look and should really be the start of the reshaping of this Senators club as we roll toward next season."

Schmucky is reported to be shopping quite a few players but stated earlier today that Whitney, Bouchard and Ryder will most likely stay put. However, he also said that for the right deal, ANYONE can go and that we would love a 1st round pick to head into this years draft.
