Schmucky Defuses Bomb!

The Senators came up with a SHOCKING 7-2 victory over the Devils last night. With reports swirling that a bomb was in the building in New Jersey last night, Schmucky and his Senators rushed to the occasion and defused the Bomb before any damage could be done. Unless you consider the Sens putting a kink in the Devils playoff hopes as damage. An almost sure win everytime, the Sens put up a big offensive game to support young rookie goalie Matheiu Chouinard in his first career Clutch start. Chouinard stopped 19 of 21 shots in his debut and is expected to get the call for most of the rest of this season.

Veteran Defenseman Tom Poti had 3 assists in the game while 5 other players had 2 point nights in the effort.

The Senators Jr squad did not do so well. They lost to the Canadiens but didn't lose much ground on their grasp of 1st in the conference and 2nd overall. The JR. Isles picked up a couple points to lunge ahead of the Carolina JR's but the Sens still have 2 games in hand to hopefully make up for the tight race and stretch a bit of a lead.
