Capitals Add David Vyborny
In an effort to add scoring punch and skill to the forward lines, the Washington Capitals acquired versatile player David Vyborny in a recent trade. In exchange, Washington paid $4,000,000 to the financially-strapped Columbus Blue Jackets.
Vyborny, 30, is in the final year of his contract and could simply be a rental player for the Capitals. Washington expects to slot Vyborny in at center ice on the second line between Frantisek Lukes and Anson Carter.
