The One Where Things Start Getting ugly

For reasons completely unknown, the Boston Bruins got their asses just handed to them on a silver platter by the Dallas Stars. Unfortunately, their ass was covered in ice, since they got knocked all around in the 6-2 defeat.

"We're dumbfounded", head coach Robbie Ftorek reported. "Perhaps Andrew is still skittish after the Denis Gauthier cheap shot attack, or maybe we've just hit the wall. The team put so much effort forth to dig out of the early hole they were in... and now we seem to just be out of oomph."

The only highlight on offense from the Bruins came from Keith Tkachuk, who finally reached twenty goals on the season with a breakaway at 15:07. The sight of the portly Tkachuk "speeding" down the ice left Marty Turco in stitches laughing, making it an easy goal for Tkachuk. Martin Havlat added a second goal with less than four minutes to play in slop play time. The rest of the game was all Dallas, with Mike Ricci and Marc-Andre Thinel scoring two goals each and Alex Daigle and Pavel Vorobiev chipping in the other two.

"Just... preposterous" said Ftorek as he shuffled out of the room, head down.
