Arnott leaves town

The Vancouver Canucks continue to move the big ticket underachievers out of town.I could not justify these contracts to the youngsters coming behind them.So Arnott was moved to the Dallas Stars For veteran Mike Knuble.By moving Arnott for Knuble we save 2.9 in cap space.We also fill our 2nd line rw spot a definate weakness on this club.We are now in a position to work on the contracts of the guys holding out.We have the flexibility to match offers or take the compensation without much worry of the new 56 million dollar cap.Also on the move is brandon Nolan for some draft picks.The Canucks have an abundance of centerss and will use the picks to fill other holes in the organisation.
