Bruins excited about rerate for Meszaros

"We're quite pleased that the league saw and accepted our arguments," Boston Bruins General Manager Joshua Anderson stated. "With his rerating, we believe Andrej Meszaros can be a productive part of our team and our future, as we always expected and hoped."

The Bruins had hoped their farm system prodigy would be able to step up to the pro level in the upcoming season based on his performance in the NHL last year. While the CLUTCH Powers had not rated him as favorably originally, there was little denying what his performance would allow for in the coming years.

"Well, now we have to pay him to come to the big leagues... but I think that is a price we are comfortable with for his current talent and his long-term potential," GM Joshua Anderson stated. "We're a bit disappointed they did not set his defensive and passing stats a bit higher, but we can accept it."
