Blood Bath in Buffalo Town as Penguins Visit

Buffalo – A.P.

The Buffalo Sabres won their crucial game against the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight in what appeared to be a blood bath.

In a vital standoff between the Sabres and Penguins, both fighting for the second overall seed in the Wales Conference, the ice ran red with blood, as there were twelve penalties, three ejections, two fighting majors, and one suspension. This truly was a battle of goliaths but who came out on top?

The Buffalo Sabres did as they won the game 3 to 2 over the Pittsburgh Penguins at home in front of a sellout crowd. In a battle that went back and forth, between goals and shots, it ended with the Pittsburgh Penguins winning the shot category (27 to 26) but the Buffalo Sabres won the goal contest 3 to 2 and to seal the win and second seed in the Wales Conference.

However this battle is far from over as both meet again in twenty days from today as the Pittsburgh Penguins host the Buffalo Sabres in what will be another blood bath, but will the Sabres come out on top again?
