Deadline deal made
The Boston Bruins, based on a late night communication from the Secret Spy Lair of Herr Mussolini, learned they were in need of a second right winger for the junior league.
After moments of searching the team reached a bargain based on hours of negotiations with Rick Farren, General Manager of the Los Angeles Kings.
Once Farren communicated that Denis Yachmenev, a right winger to whom the Kings owned the rights to, was available, the Bruins leapt into action, offering some belly button lint, last month's Playboy, and the right to name the team's home arena. Farren countered with demands surrounding driving privileges and the right to beat GM Joshua Anderson's son "but only on Sundays".
Eventually, the team settled on a $400,00 fee. Yachemenev is expected to report to the Boston junior squad on Thursday, after visiting his maxifacial orthodonical surgeon.
