Boston announces TV deal

The Boston Bruins issued a statement today, proclaiming they had signed a television agreement with NBC affiliate, WHDH, Channel 7 in the Boston area.

"We are pleased to be able to provide out games over broadcast television to our fans. The recent seasons have been less than stellar, so this free coverage, we hope, will aid in continuing to develop our fan base. We hope we will be able to develop a worthy product for them."
