Oilers add more Defense and Depth in Tucker deal

The Oilers acquired solid Winger Jay Pandolfo and solid defensman Jesse Wallin from the Hurricanes yesterday.

Pandolfo has 5 assists and a +5 rating with the Hurricanes so far this season and is expected to be part of the Oilers defensive minded checking line. In the deal Jesse Wallin was also added, A Solid 3rd Line Defensman who is expected to contribute to the Oilers very important Penalty Killing lines. Wallin has 2 points, a +2 ratings and a whopping 23 hits for the Hurricanes so far this season. 4 of the 5 recent acquisitions are in the line-up tonight vs. the 1st Place Florida Panthers. Kariya and Allision are expected to get a lot of ice time while some of the 4th liners will find themselves playing limited time more then likely only on Special Teams and when Kariya and Allision need a rest. Classen is a healthy scratch tonight and 'Bulin will get the start. The Oilers will count them self lucky if they come out with a point.
