TOUGH Schedule for the Senators

Who the heck made up this years Clutch schedule? That is the question GM Schmucky is asking himself tonight as another 3 day layoff for the Senators comes to an end. The schedule is very Senator-unfriendly. They play the defending cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning 3 times in 4 games, interrupted only by the 1st place Panthers and very respectable Hurricanes. Then, wrapping up their tough slide facing the legitimate contenders, the NY Islanders, then to Carolina again, oh, and then back to Florida! AHHHHH! How are the Senators supposed to compete when the Scheduler is obviously an anti-Senators fan?

Apparently GM Schmucky has called in a top team of investigators to see who has been serving haterade at parties with the commish and his pish posh cronies. Obviously, the haterade has been flavoured Senator so far this season as the Sens have been trying to build momentum early in the season only to have it thwarted by crappy long breaks after EVERY game (or so it seems) and having to face one of the best teams in the league 6 out of 6 games!

When will the conspiracy end? Who knows. But Schmucky feels that if the schedule does not improve he and Janet will be placing all of their bets with Rick Tocchet against the Senators!
