Ottawa Jr's have no time to Celebrate!
The Senators Jr. squad have been nothing short of impressive so far this season as they rise to the top of the Campbell Conference after a 6-2 victory yesterday. The team is looking sharp so far and add to the potential promising future of the Senators pro squad.
Tonight, they will welcome back from Scoring Camp Centers Nick Tarnasky and Rostislav Olesz. Tarnasky had a great camp, gaining 6 extra sniping points and hopes to be a force to be reckoned with on the ice.
Olesz, on the other hand, had a terrible camp gaining only 1 point in his Scoring. However, being 18 he has a lot more of these camps ahead of him and hopefully will get the hang of it.
One person who is not impressed about the return of Tarnasky is veteran Center, Kiel Mcleod. Kiel has had a decent season thus far but sees himself being bumped to the second line after youngster Tarnasky performed like an All-Star a Camp last week. "You just have to play in the role you are given. Of course I am dissappointed but it may not be permanent. Besides, I am hoping to find a spot on the pro roster next season and if Nick can help us perform even better by being on the first line, I am all for it! I just want us to compete for a Jr. Title. Something I haven't even been close to in previous years on the club."
The Jr. Sens take their show to the Corel Center for Tomorrow's game versus the 12 16 and 2 New Jersey Juniors and hope to pull of another win to stay atop the Campbell Conference Standings!
