Capitals Host Sabres

The Washington Capitals play host to the Buffalo Sabres on Day 123 in a Wales Conference showdown. Washington is coming off a 6-2 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs and are 24-27-9, three points out of the playoffs. Buffalo has won two straight and are 22-35-4.

The Sabres attack is led by Alexander Polushin with 21 goals and 27 assists for 49 points. Artem Kruikov has the most helpers with 34, and John LeClair adds 45 points. Simon Gagne is also doing well with 17 goals and 25 assists.

On the blueline, Toni Lydman has six goals and 27 assists for 33 points. Andrei Markov is also contributing with four goals and 21 assists.

Between the pipes, Marc Denis is 18-28-4 with a 3.47 GAA and .879 save percentage. Rick DiPietro also gets his share of ice time at 4-7-0 with a 3.65 GAA and .883 save percentage.
