Ottawa Jr's Prep for 1st round Battle
The Junior Senators are not dissappointed with their 2nd place finish in the JR Wales Conference this year. In fact, their 44-31-7 record is their best in franchise history and they totalled 95 points; 2nd in the entire league and only 1 point out of the 1st place spot!!
GM Schmucky said earlier today that, "we are extremely proud of our Junior Boys. They have played their hearts out while being the underdog's all season and continue to prove they're excellent."
The Sens prepared for the Florida Panthers JR. Squad today at their home practice arena just north of Hull, Quebec. The Senators went 2-0-0 against the JR Panthers this year but team leader, Kiel Mcleod says "they play us tough. We ended our season on a bit of a downward slide and they were moving up. Plus, two solid camps by their forwards last week have them looking quicker than ever. We plan to beat them of course, but cannot take them lightly because they are the type of team that will sneak up and crush you if you're not ready."
The playoffs start tonight, at 5 am in Ottawa. GO SENS GO!
