Sens Win a Barnburner!!

The Ottawa Senators won a close game against the NY Rangers last night. Ottawa came into the game pumped to have their #1 guy, Alexei Kovalev, back in the lineup.

For the 4th game in a row, the Sens opened the scoring 6:56 into period one. Snyder snapped a wrister by Dunham on assists by Petrasek and Whitney. Quickly, the Rangers answered back on Neckar's 1st of the year.

The only goal in a very even 2nd period came from Michael Ryder on a nice pass by Bouchard.

Ottawa drastically outshot the Rangers in the 3rd 14-4! And it paid off! Even though the Rangers tied it up early on, the Sens took the 2 pts away from NY on ROOKIE Chris Kelly's 4th goal of the year!!

The Sens head to Buffalo tonight to whoop some Sabre ass! GO SENS GO!
