Senators Have Turco Seeing Stars

What is that red, burning rash on the back of Turco's neck this morning? Oh, it's the burn from the goal light behind him constantly being lit up.

That's right, the Ottawa Senators flat out embarrassed the Dallas Stars on Friday night at the Corel Centre by a score of 6-0! The Sens dominated the entire game outshooting Dallas 31-17 and gving the recently, high-flying Stars a dose of reality.

The three stars for the game were:
1) Filip Novak who had a goal and 2 assists, a +3 rating and 3 monsterous hits
2)
Pierre-Marc Bouchard who had a goal and an assist, a +3 rating as well and logged 25 minutes of ice-time on the 2nd line.
3) Chris Osgood who stopped all 17 shots faced and desperately needed to. He was in trade talks last night and has been playing below Schmucky's expectations of him when aquired in the offseason.

The Senators took a hit last night though as Dick Tarnstrom went down to injury. He will likely only miss one or two games but he is a big loss nonetheless heading into Montreal this evening to face the Canadiens. It is expected that overpaid, shitty defenseman Alexei Zhitnik will take his place.
