Oilers prepare for Canadiens

The Oilers were on the ice for Practice this morning preparing to face the Montreal Canadians in Edmonton tonight. With all lines firing and lots of new found depth the Oilers have been juggling the lower portion of their line-up and have seen some solid talent through-out. The Oilers managment have set up a team that is built to be a playoff contender. With enough enforcers to cripple any line-up after the first couple of games and enough depth for players to fill in the holes with little to no difference in talent I wouldn't want to be slated to meet them in the 1st round.

Junior Oilers send Center's Isakov & Shafigulin to Scoring camp
If there has been one thing the Junior Oilers have lacked in this season; It has been the scoring touch. In an attempt to find some new talent for putting the puck in the net, 19 year old Grigory Shafigulin & 21 year old Evengi Isakov have been sent to Scoring camp for the next week. In their abscence it will give youngster Dusty Collins and Veteran Jeff Genovy a chance to show what their made of.
