(Tampa) - Gm Sprackman is starting to show some frustration with the new number one goalie in Tampa. Jani Hurme was given the reigns to run with when Thibault was dealt to the NY Rangers but with another disappointing loss tonight, Gm Sprackman decided enough was enough.

"We are going to play Lehtonen in net for our next couple of games. We thought Jani was ready for the task of playing every game but he is very inconsistent and too many bad goals are going in. Tonight was another one of those nights and right now his play demands for change. Lehtonen will play and thats that." Gm Sprackman stated tonight after a very poor performance at home against the Devils.

It what was a tight defensive battle, the Devils got 6 goals on 23 shots and the most disappointing part was in the second when they scored 4 on 10 shots. Like the Avs game, the goaltending was the biggest problem and right now Gm Sprackman isn't afraid of going with the younger Lehtonen, if he can get the job done.

"I am ready to show what I can do. I know Gm Sprackman brought me here for future play in the Clutch but I feel I can help this team now. With the defence we have on this team, I think I can win alot of games and help them make the playoffs. I am ready and want to play as much as I can." Kari said after the game.

Jr Notes
Jr Lost another close match tonight and are now 9-11 on the season. Gm SPrackman didn't expect such a good start to the season, so being this close to 500 is appealing to the Gm. He looks forward to seeing some of the younger players going to camp and hopefully their development will help the team in the future.

Team News
On the block in Tampa are some very familiar names. Mario Lemieux, Robert Svehla, Vaclav Prospal and Michael Nylander are up for grabs. Gm Sprackman has made it clear he isn't giving the players away and will wait for the right offer before making a trade.
